Day 8

Yesterday I finished up the gas line and pump. Her is a shot from the top down:
Here you can see the fuel filter at the top of the picture which feeds into the pump and down to the hard line:
There was also an air show at DM today, so we had to stop work and see what was flying overhead every now and then.
Dad painted most of the aluminum panels today and started sorting out the Dynamat to cover the inside cockpit. I finished up the rear electrical and got the gas tank in place after much bending and tweaking of the passenger side strap:
Then moved on to the passenger side floor aluminum. Before drilling and riveting, I laid down the silicone adhesive with a little "Easter Egg" as my initials...kind of like leaving your name in wet cement (lol):
In place, drilled and ready for rivets:
Riveted and cleaned up a bit. The top part of the tunnel stays in place with Clecos for now:

Tomorrow we finish off what we can for the cockpit aluminium, but otherwise another good day!
