Day 1

Removed the body and the aluminum panels. Here is a time lapse video of the process no audio:
Moved on to installing the front suspension, but there was a problem...
They shipped the rear lower end arms in this box instead of the fronts...Plus we are using a solid axle rear-end, so these won't even fit. I'll have to ring them up :)

Moving on, we assembled and installed the fully adjustable upper control arms after riveting the "F" panel to the chassis. This is a driver side front shot:

Same for the passenger side front:

Assembled the adjustable Koni's:

I did a test fit with the supplied hardware, but the spacers were off (size wise, too big) and really rough...unfinished. So I took the Dremel to them. Original on top, sanded and fitted on the bottom:

I'll paint them tomorrow to match the frame. Day 1 over. Up to page 41 of the manual, minus the lower arms of course.

Day Zero

All the parts for Factory Five are here! Currently inventorying all the parts in the boxes. Video steam is up if you want to see the excitement (lol). Here are the pictures from today:
Boxes full of new parts. Lots of them.
Luckily we have storage outside of the garage which is where the higher number boxes currently are.
 Still sorting parts...
 Nice angle, bad light.
Hood (or bonnet depending on which side of the pond ya come from) and doors removed...
 Trunk lid off.
The hood wasn't pre-cut for the scoop like it was supposed to be, but the factory cut the rest of the necessary holes for us.
View of the rear-end, where the 3 link suspension will go.
Just enough room for the engine. We are going with a Ford Racing 302 setup.
Where the gerbils will go. All 302 of them.
From the front. Beefy engine mount points!
View of the driver, tranny tunnel and passenger areas.
Gotta do the cookin by the book! All 529+ pages.

Video stream is up

Click on the link above. Still in testing and if it hasn't refreshed in awhile, I'm probably not there.
